As Commercial Director of McCreath Simpson & Prentice, in addition to sitting on the Executive Team of Simpsons Malt Limited, Andy has overall responsibility for all aspects of the merchanting business, including its strategic direction.
Andy completed a degree in Agriculture, Food & Marketing at Newcastle University before going on to work for H.G. McCreath & Son (part of the Associated British Maltsters) and Dalgety Agriculture, joining MSP in 1996.
Despite his role within the business, Andy still maintains a farmer client base of his own, valuing the relationships he has built up in more than 25 years with MSP along with understanding the ongoing challenges being faced by his customers.
