About Lauren
Lauren grew up helping on her grandparents' small arable farm in Suffolk and worked many harvests on a local arable estate.
Having gained a passion for agriculture, Lauren began studying Agriculture at Harper Adams University in 2017. During a placement year, Lauren moved away from Suffolk to the Scottish Borders to work on a mixed arable and beef farm and, after graduating in 2021, she permanently settled in the area.
Lauren started as a Trainee Farm Trader in April 2022 and has since completed the training to become both BASIS and FACTS qualified. Lauren represents McCreath Simpson & Prentice within the trading and sales team across the Borders and Lothians.
Outside of work, Lauren helps her partner on their mixed livestock farm, with a particular interest in sheep.
