MSP Winter Wheat Trials Open Evening returns for another season
On Monday, June 15, we're once again hosting our Winter Wheat Variety Trials Open Evening at Mountfair Farm in the Scottish Borders... and we'd love for you to join us.
On the evening, our team of Farm Traders will be available from 4pm-8pm to take you through the 29 trial plots. We'll have treated and untreated plots of each variety on display, as well as a section showcasing earlier drilled plots (drilled on September 5) and later drilled plots (drilled on September 26).
As always, we will have a mix of varieties including current favourites such as RGT Hexton, Bamford and KWS Zealum through to new varieties LG Challenger and Sparkler.
As an added bonus for 2026, members of our in-house grain and fertiliser teams will also be there on the night to give short updates on the current grain and fertiliser markets as well as the opportunity for you to ask them questions.
BASIS and NRoSO points will also be available to those who attend.
A food truck from local business U've Pulled will be stationed at the farm serving hot pork and beef rolls, alongside tea, coffee and juice.
