Stracathro Distribution Centre

We are delighted to announce the opening of a BASIS approved Distribution Centre for agrochemicals and small seeds at our Stracathro site.  

The Distribution Centre will be operated by a BASIS qualified agronomist, who will utilise this facility to store products aligned with customer purchasing habits and recommendations. 

The portfolio of crop protection products stored at the Distribution Centre will mirror that of our Berwick-upon-Tweed headquarters.  

This means we can offer high-quality technical solutions from many of the UK’s leading manufacturers, including BASF, Bayer, Syngenta, Corteva and FMC. 

But the site won’t just be distributing agrochemicals. With the focus of land use moving more towards sustainability and soil health, the Distribution Centre will also stock grass seeds, forage crop seeds and cover crop seeds.

The trading area will be serviced by a McCreath Simpson & Prentice delivery van based at the store, ensuring we can provide efficient customer service and delivery lead times, while also significantly reducing road miles.
