Following the company’s acquisition of the agricultural merchanting division of W.N. Lindsay Ltd in 2021, we were able to increase the number of mixtures in our offering.
We successfully encompassed and retained the names of the W.N. Lindsay Ltd mixtures – Sprinter (and Sprinter Plus), Abundance, Maximiser, Persistor, Endurance and Endurance Upland – into our product range, tweaking the varieties used in the mixtures slightly so they can be produced in-house at our grass seed and blending plant in Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Short term mixtures
TYNE
A short-term ley designed for high production with up to three cuts of silage or intensive grazing.
FORTH
A mixture that is designed for high production, using rich yielding IRG and Hybrid in mixture with red clover.
SPRINTER
Sprinter has a high tetraploid content and is designed for up to three cuts of silage or intensive grazing.
Medium term mixtures
ALN
A high production quality mixture that uses varieties that combine high yield and good D-value.
TILL
A dual-purpose ley that performs well in both intensive and extensive management systems.
ABUNDANCE
Abundance is designed to suit the early silage producer wanting three or more quality cuts each year.
MAXIMISER
Maximiser features high yielding and reliable varieties and is a truly consistent performer all year round.

COQUET
Coquet is ideal for mixed farms requiring a long-term dual-purpose mixture with early bite.
PERSISTOR
Designed to give the grassland farmer a high performance with inclusion of Timothy.
TEVIOT
A traditional dual-purpose mixture for cutting or grazing under a low input mixed farm system.
BOWMONT
Our highest yielding long-term mixture for cutting and grazing combining first choice varieties.
ENDURANCE
Specifically designed for long-term cutting and grazing with excellent D-value grasses.
Permanent pasture
TWEED
A ley designed for mixed grazing in an intensive or extensive management system.
ENDURANCE UPLAND
A long-term mixture for both cattle and sheep which will last more than ten years.

A mixture designed for predominantly sheep grazing due to high clover inclusion.
